Whistler’s Mother
I didn't realize how fast the sun descends Now, those navy blue curtains make no sense I used to visit a place A place where heaven stole its colors from I was young, didn't know that years fade I wish that is how I stayed Oh those navy blue curtains! You didn't let me see the sunlight on purpose I didn't realize how fast the sun descends That place I used to visit, Is nothing more than an old album I didn't realize how fast the sun descends My life, now, is a series of forgotten events (Inspired from the painting Whistler's Mother) Life We are living the sorest war People, the cruelest soldiers Words, the strongest weapons Young soldiers, they are arming They are fighting Yet the war wearies are quiet They are dead beat They are silent Door
I am the door you close as a last goodbye I am the only obstacle standing on someone’s way When the only thing they want to do is to rush out Sometimes I mean everything to someone If they get me slammed in their faces I am The door you have to run through The door who keeps your dreams from you |
Whistler's Mother by James Whistler

Starry Night From my small window Storm is approaching slowly In blue and yellow (Inspired from the painting The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh) The mosquito Tick-tacks of the clock and the beats of her heart Her loud heart, pumping the alluring fresh blood A visible vein on her neck is calling me I feel like swimming in an infinite sea. |
